"I ordered a medium which fit beautifully but I wanted to be able to layer a hoodie and thin down jacket . With the easy exchange I retuned for a large. I am able to use the Velcro on the cuff s to reduce the length. This weekend I bundled up with the hoodie and thin down jacket with plenty of of room. I like extra room. I am 5’6”. 135. As noted the medium was great but I wanted more room. The large is bigger obviously but not excessive."

"I've been able to use this jacket while my husband was out hunting during the late season. I was warm and dry. Here in the PNW, it rains a lot. Especially November-February. I ordered the ash brown for my hunting season and the slate grey for everyday use during our wet season. I'll be happy to try this item during our cold season. I ordered a large, and I can still fit a hoodie underneath the jacket. The arm length is just right. I hate jackets when they're too short. The pit zippers are what caught my attention."

"We outfitted my wife with a Women's Hardscrabble Jacket and Pants for an Alaskan Fishing Trip and a visit to Mendenhall Glacier. She always runs a bit cold, and she loved them! The fit was slightly large, but it allowed for layering and leggings under the pants. Money well spent Skre. . . Justin"

Will be putting it to the big test this weekend for archery where we are expecting everything from rain, hail, and 40 degrees to some 80 to 90 degree desert highs. So far this is a super comfortable jacket, great fit. First time I’ve gone down in size for a jacket, can’t wait to get it on the mountain."

"Seems like good quality, have not tested it hunting yet but just wanted to make a comment about womens sizing. My first order was a womens xl hardscrabble jacket (I'm 180lbs - 5'6) thinking I'd have room for layers. But when I received it, seemed more like a 2xl!! So I exchanged it for a medium. . the body was too tight, but the sleeves were very baggy and way past my arm length and maxed out at the velcro synch so I still was not happy with the fit. So I exchanged it for a large!! The womens large is again, too big in body but that is okay, I can layer and be happy with it BUT the arm length is crazy. The sleeves go past my arms by 2 hand lengths. Way too much room in the sleeves which make it very baggy and the velcro synch to tighten around wrist is absolutely maxed out, and still slips past my wrists to the point where I may have to sew more velcro on for a proper fit that doesnt slide over my hands. The womens large fits my boyfriend perfectly who wears a men's large and is 5"11 200lbs. I wonder if I would have been better off ordering a men's size. 🤔 I don't want to return because my boyfriend says he will wear it if I decide i can't make it work, but waa pretty sad about the sizing considering it's my first big hunting gear purchase."
