Customer for life!

"I’ve have put this gear through everything from early deer , to late winter season, turkey, and even snow storms while shoveling snow. Briars, thorns, rocks, rain storms. . everything. It has never failed me. Had a zipper break and SKRE stood by their warranty. Amazing gear. . amazing company. Customer for life"

Perfect All Around Pants!!

"I waited until I bowhunted in Wisconsin in the Fall, and hunted Wisconsin's 9 day Gun Season to review. I wore these pants almost every day. They held up wonderfly, and provided the warmth, quietness, and usefulness I needed! The numerous pockets are remarkable. I own several high end hunting pants and these outperformed them all! Pleasantly surprised! I would recommend these pants to anyone looking for a do- it- all pant! And did I mention the pockets!! Incredible."

Richard W. (5/5)

Great pants!

"I Wore these while moving snow with temps in the lower 20’s and I was very comfortable. I wI’ll be using these for a late season muzzleloader hunt. The fit is true to size, very quiet and warm, quality zippers, pockets are functionally placed, love the hip vents to dump heat. Would definitely buy again. Hoping for more solid colors in the future like a khaki or light brown. Also would like the option for knee pads."

Andrew S. (5/5)

Warm and comfortable

"Bought last year but didn't get a chance a use until this season. Very comfortable and warm but do not sacrifice the ability to move around in them. Feel the double layer cargo pockets are not needed. Considering they are a late season pant I do wish they had leg cuff zippers to aid in getting them over bulkier boots."

Kodiak pants

"I bought these pants for late season archery. I hunt all PA public land miles in off the road. I bought these because they are insulated enough with a base layer to keep me warm and the vents are perfect for the walk in to keep me from sweating up. The only reason these aren’t 5 star is because there was no option for length or more of an athletic fit. They fit perfect around my waist but length wise are long and very baggy. Other than that they are awesome and I will def be buying more skre gear (coming from first lite)"

Derreck F. (4/5)

Kodiak Pants

"I already have the hardscrabble pants and like them. Upon seeing the Kodiaks, and hunting in cold weather, I decided to try them for the very cold days. Upon receiving them I noticed that they are built very much the same as the Hardscrabble Jacket. The Kodiaks have the same micro fleece as what's inside the Hardscrabble jacket. I normally wear a thin base layer under my trousers but the Kodiaks will eliminate that unless I need the extra insulation. I am 6 ft tall and the length of the regulars are 2 inches too long, the same as the Hardscrabbles. The front pockets are placed perfectly for me, more to the front sides instead of being placed directly to the front(shoulder issues). I got the Solace pattern and will probably get another in a solid for social events."

Q&A

What size are the belt loops?
Great question. Our pants fit a 2 inch belt.
How are the Kodiak pants compared to the Hardscrabble bibs? I have the bibs and this looks like a good layer for wearing in on colder days and using the bibs once on stand. They look like they would be similar in warmth to the bibs.
That is a great question! It sounds like you are already pretty spot on. The only difference it the pocket layout of the pants and that there is an extra layer of insulation for colder weather. Its a great pant for the cold hunts!
The Kodiak pants get nice review for being warm. What jacket has matching construction with regards to materials and warmth?
Hardscrabble Jacket and Kodiak Pants have a polyester exterior and a micro-fleece interior.
Are these pants windproof?
They have a micro fleece interior. They are considered wind-proof
I'm interested in the Kodiak pant. Waist-- 38 Inseam 34 The size chart states it this way but the size label with the pant says MED. ??? What is the inseam length for 38 waist?. Thanks
Inseam is 34.
