"Ordered these Venture pants and several other items as my first ever SKRE purchase. Hunting apparel is a tough market. . . . it's expensive, and it's filled with brand loyalties similar to Snap On tools. These pants are affordable, and they fit true to size. I deliberately scrubbed my legs together as walked for a noise check. . . . VERY QUIET. Get these, or any of the other choices from SKRE. Don't pay for the Alaskan Spruce Tree brand."
Pants for shoulder season hiking
"Pants are well made ,seams are strong the fabric stretchy and the zipers robust. I liked the waist band grip system and can imagine it being very helpful when temperatures drop. I was a bit disappointed that the sizing for leg length doesn't offer at least a short medium or long option. I'll need to find a tailor to fit the pants to my 5'8" dimensions. I do have a pair of "dead bird" pants that have an ankle system that allows leg length adjustment ."
