Great bibs

"Bibs fit true to size and are as advertised but the top of the bib rubs on my nibs making them tenderI will try to readjust. On the adjustment note, I wish there was a shorter leg option especially because these can't be hemmed. Perhaps if the bottom 4" or so was hook and loop that could be adjusted and the zippers aren't in the mud either Another note for feedback is a waterproof seat in addition to the lower legs. Don't get these if you're wearing a pack as the buckles will likely sit under the pack straps. Haven't tested in the field but my other Skre items have held up better than Kuiu and are better generalist items than Sitka."

SKRE dropped the ball.

"The first thing I noticed unpacking these was how noisy they are. If you charge this much for "hunting gear" you need to rethink the fabric. I won't be buying anything else from SKRE."

Hardscrabble bibs

"These bibs are great comfortable true to size quality and value for price"

Really good, almost great.

"Overall i am very impressed by these bibs. One underrated feature is the side zip with 3 zippers. This makes it so incredibly easy to put on or access and adjust your base layers. The front facing leg pockets make getting to things without the risk of it falling out like with side pockets. This is an awesome feature while in a saddle. Great range of motion without being loose. Most of the material is incredibly quiet. The only drawback is the material on the bottom 10 inches or so. Its a bit loud when your cuffs rub together when your walking. Sitting in a stand or saddle the cuffs shouldn't pose much of an issue. I don't believe the Hardscrabble pants have this same feature. One feature I'd love to see added would be a snap at the bottom of the cuff to be able to close it up around the boot. This may also help keep the cuffs from rubbing together. These are a really good bib, quality build, soft interior, the easiest bibs to put on or take off, really well though out pocket placement and stay in place shoulder staps really sell it. But the noisy cuffs and lack of a way to secure the cuff tighter take it down a notch for me. I'm 5'11" 192lbs and chose XL for late season layering. Perfect fit for what i have planned."

Hardscrabble Bibs

"I've been looking for a pair of bibs like this for a long time. All other bibs these days are only built for extreme cold. I like thinner gear that I can wear earlier in the season and layer for cold weather. Too many great features to list. Just read the description. The only con is that the metal zippers rattle. I cut all the metal tabs off the zippers and slipped on the little rope pulls. Now these things are silent!"

Perfect.

"Perfect."

Outstanding!

"Bought slate grey hardscrabble bibs. Perfectly true to size. Just wore them for a week of maple tree tapping in snowshoes at -20C. Wore a normal merino base layer. This setup kept me warm and agile to work all day long in snowshoes over 2 feet of snow. Fabric resisted drill bit friction while stowing the drill on my hip belt. Well done once again Skre team!"

Phil B. (5/5)

Runs a little small. I

"Runs a little small. I expected to be able to put a single base layer underneath, a little to snug. Still not a terrible fit, very comfortable, and love the material on the inside of the bottom legs. That little addition kept me dry why trudging through a foot of snow for 3 hours."

Excellent gear, quick shipping

Excellent Gear

"I love this gear. It’s athletic fit there’s not a ton of room in the bibs so if you wear a lot of gear underneath your bibs, buy a size up for bow hunters there’s a minor amount of swish so these are not my go to bibs for spot and stalk, but they are great in the saddle and the stand"

Q&A

What temps could you realistically get down to in these? Also I have a pair of the Kodiak pants to wear with them.
This is an all season bib and can be used in all sorts of climates and temperature ranges. Depending on how you layer and how your body temp runs can vary.
