"Got this as part of an order to try Skre out. Overall very impressed. It’s quiet, comfortable, and has plenty of utility. The jacket serves well on its own during the cooler times or layers well when the temps drop further. They really nailed the fit so it’s comfortable both on its own or layed over other gear without suffering a baggy or tight feel. Pocket layout is great and the zipper pulls are built to actually stay attached(unlike other brands). Overall 10/10 and have already made another order to fill out more of the closet."

Perfect Colorado 2nd Rifle Layer

"I am 6'3" and 215 lbs - purchased an XL to leave room for the other layers. Fits great even without several layers on beneath. The DWR on this is fantastic - it rained and snowed for 4 days during my 2nd Rifle hunt out on the Western Slope. Alternating between this and my shell ensured that I kept warm and dry. Even on steep ascents I did not find myself swimming in a cascading pool of sweat while wearing this jacket if I vented properly. Well done on another quality piece Skre team!"

Love the jacket

"Great quality jacket, very well made happy with my purchase. Im 6'2" 190lbs fit. I typically wear XL but I went with 2XL, sleeves are kinda long but I can layer underneath very well. Perfect for the fall weather in NewBrunswick."

"I don’t think SKRE has a Customer Service Department. I had a jacket sent to me I never ordered. The order I made was too small and I wanted an exchange but they won’t respond to emails. When I try to make a return through the site it doesn’t even show that my order exists. So I have about $300 worth of clothing I don’t want and can’t wear. No more SKRE gear for me."

Just what I was looking for

"Great jacket. The first one I got (hard scrabble slate grey)was a Large (I'm 6' 175lbs) found it was to tight when I wore a hoodie under it. So I emailed swapped it out for a X Large and the jacket fits great. Great customer service. Great jacket for wearing at the Ri k while watching the kid play hockey and of course great for outdoors in the bush! Highly recommended."

Hardscrabble Jacket- Colorado

"This jacket is perfect for mid to late fall hunts, recently returned from Colorado and used this jacket during an early morning hunt during light to moderate rain. Held up nicely and kept me dryer the expected. I would not recommend wearing it if hiking long distances between 50-70 degrees, it gets a bit too warm for my liking . Over all, great quality and zero regrets."

"This jacket is windproof and waterproof, and it does a great job keeping you protected in bad weather. It has lots of storage, great ventilation, and the hood is extremely comfortable and well-designed. Everything feels well thought out and practical."

Great jacket

"Love the fit of this jacket. Wish the arm pocket was a bit bigger to accommodate a phone or gps. Even an elasticize opening pocket so there isn’t as much noise retrieving those devices. The chest pockets are roomy as are the lower side pockets. It’s slim enough to move well through thick bush yet accommodates layers underneath nice it gets cooler out. The solace pattern blends in well with poplar and birch but is pretty viable in the more woodland areas. Would definitely buy again."

Awesome

"It took me weeks of researching, talking to other hunters and what they use to finally decide what I was buying. As you know, this type of gear isn’t cheap and I wanted something that would last but didn’t break the bank. Well, this gear was great. Not only did it keep me dry but it was much warmer than I expected. It was quiet, warm, repelled water and as far as I’m concerned in the budget. I ordered extra large and I’m 6’ 215 pounds. It fit perfectly over my clothes, which was merino wool and hunting pants."
