This past Memorial weekend I competed in the California State 3D Broadhead Tournament that was held at Tejon Ranch in Gormon California, that’s only put on once a year by California Bowmen Hunters Big Game Club. Checking the weather on the Weather Channel app it called for 75 degrees and slightly windy. On day one that wasn’t the case. It was cold, drizzly, foggy and a brisk wind that at times would give you the chills. This would make for some great hunting weather during those early bow hunting months, but not so great in the month of May when you have 42 big game 3D animals to shoot that day. With only having the Mad Trapper Hoodie and not having any rain gear, I couldn’t believe how warm and comfortable I was. It kept me dry throughout entire day and I had mobility wearing it on each shot I had to make. A simple piece of clothing like a hoodie keeping me comfortable in elements such as that, without having any SKRE Base layers on underneath made me a believer that day, this is the type of gear that is going to keep me safe from extreme elements when wearing SKRE Gear from head to toe on my hunts. The kind of Camo that is able to handle all of the elements that Mother Nature presents to you. Thank You to everyone at SKRE for designing some of the best gear that’s out there.
